DARE SAID SPORTS WILL RESUME WITH NON-COMBAT EVENTS

Speaking on Voice of Nigeria’s Issues in The News, Dare admitted there was no fixed date but for the return of the non-combat sports.
He introduced that the ministry would look at global exercise in making sure a secure return of wearing activities in the country.
“We wish that our athletes can get lower back to action soon with non-combat sports activities, even though no date has been set. But we should publish to the COVID-19 protocols consistent with the exercise all over the world. We have submitted our protocol and hopefully, our athletes will quickly be returned to compete,” the minister said.
Dare’s assertion comes after the Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, stated in Abuja on Monday that sports and different activities, which involved big gatherings, might continue to be close down following the growing instances of COVID-19 within the country.
Mustapha stated the COVID-19 statistics were no longer encouraging, including that there might be no room for compromise.
